Le Present Be + Ving est une forme du présent aussi appelée présent progressif ou 'present continuous'.
Il s'emploie, entre
autres, pour exprimer une action en cours,
ce que ne fait généralement pas le Simple
Present.
Present
Be + Ving : I am working right now. = je travaille. = je suis en train de travailler en ce
moment.
≠ Simple
Present : I often work. = je travaille
souvent.
Le Present Be + Ving se forme en conjugant l'auxiliaire 'be' au présent et en mettant le verbe à la forme 'ing'.
Il se conjugue de la manière suivante à la voix active pour le verbe 'work':

d'actions ne peuvent généralement pas s'utiliser au Present Be + Ving :
He is working. = Il est en
train de travailler. mais He is
knowing. = Il est
en train de savoir.
